RAWALPINDI, Jan 15 (APP):The Rawalpindi Police on Wednesday arrested four drug peddlers, four liquor suppliers and nine illegal arms owners, in actions across the district.
According to a police spokesman, the Westridge Police nabbed accused Chenzeb with 1.5 kilograms hashish while the Airport Police recovered 1.496 kilograms hashish from accused Qadeer and the Kallar Syedan Police held accused Zaigham Abbas on the recovery of 1.38 kilograms hashish. Likewise, the Wah Cantt Police also recovered 600 grams hashish from accused Nazir.
Similarly, the Ganjmandi Police recovered more than 2 litres of liquor from accused Tauqeer and 5 litres of liquor from accused Subhanullah, while the Ratta Amral Police held accused Khawar with 8 litres of liquor and the Sadiqabad Police arrested accused Arsalan with 10 litres of liquor.
Meanwhile, nine accused were arrested for having illegal 30 bore pistols and ammunition. The accused identified as Umair and Mushtaq were held by the Pirwadhai Police, Imran and Walid Iqbal by the Sadiqabad Police, Jawad and Safdar by the Naseerabad Police, Baz Muhammad by the Wah Saddar Police, Hamza Rafique by the Jatli Police and Umar Ijaz by the Rawat Police.
