BAHAWALPUR, Dec 01 (APP): A pivotal session of the Bahawalpur Sadar Tehsil Dispute Resolution Committee was held under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Dr. Farhan Farooq, where 39 longstanding and complex land-related cases were successfully resolved.
During the session, Dr. Farooq listened to the detailed positions of all parties involved. Illegal occupations were swiftly removed, and rightful possession of properties was immediately restored to the legal owners. Ownership documents, registries, and revenue records were thoroughly examined and verified throughout the proceedings. All decisions were made with full transparency in the presence of both parties.
Addressing the public, Dr. Farooq urged citizens facing land or property disputes to approach the Dispute Resolution Committee without hesitation. He emphasized that, in line with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, these committees are actively working at the district level to ensure the swift resolution of long-pending public issues. He reassured citizens that, if a claim is proven valid based on ownership documents or official revenue records, their grievances will be addressed promptly, fairly, and transparently. Dr. Farooq further noted that the Government of Punjab and the district administration are fully committed to protecting citizens’ legal rights and shielding them from unnecessary litigation. He highlighted the proactive role of the Dispute Resolution Committee as a milestone in delivering justice and relief to the public.
