FAISALABAD, Nov 04 (APP): Police have claimed to dismantle 16 criminal gangs and arrest 38 active members, recovering stolen properties worth Rs. 11.76 million during October 2025.
According to police spokesperson Tariq Jutt, district police launched targeted operations across various police station jurisdictions throughout October, leading to the arrest of 38 gang members involved in theft and robbery cases.
The recovered stolen goods, valued at Rs. 11.76 million, included 62 motorcycles, one rickshaw, 6 mobile phones, 5 cattle heads, cash, jewelry, pistols, ammunition, and other valuables.
Tariq Jutt further stated that these successful operations helped trace 193 criminal cases that had been under investigation. The dismantling of these dangerous dacoit gangs was made possible through the effective use of modern technology, including CCTV surveillance, along with coordinated efforts from the police, elite force, and dolphin force.
