FAISALABAD, Aug 03 (APP):Three car were riders burnt alive under mysterious circumstances in the area of Nishatabad police station.
A police spokesman said here on Saturday that a car (LE-3618) caught fire while traveling near Pull Dingro Chak No.1-JB Ramdewali due to unknown reasons.
As a result, three car riders received serious burnt injuries and died on the spot. Receiving information, SSP Operations Hassan Javaid Bhatti along with his team rushed to the spot and took the bodies into custody for their identification. He said that according to an initial investigation, the car had been rented from Qamar Sindhu by a junkyard owner, Abdul Qadeer, for his brother-in-law, Maqbool alias Billo.
During travelling, the car caught fire which caused the instant death of the riders. Their bodies were dispatched to mortuary while an investigation is under progress, he added.
