SARGODHA, Dec 15 (APP):A week-long activity of 2nd Annual Research Arena 2025 began on Monday at University of Sargodha (UoS) which was inaugurated by Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission, along with UoS Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas
Addressing the ceremony, Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan appreciated the UoS for organizing a comprehensive research festival for the second consecutive year.
He lauded the initiative as a model for other higher education institutions and stressed the need for quality research aligned with national priorities and global standards.
In his address, Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas highlighted the UoS’s commitment to advancing research excellence and innovation-driven development.
He emphasized that Research Arena has emerged as a national-level platform that not only promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange but also facilitates the translation of academic research into impactful, evidence-based solutions that address real-world challenges.
On the occasion, Prof Dr Ahmad Raza Bilal, Director ORIC, provided a brief introduction of Research Arena 2025, outlining its objectives, scope, and expected outcomes.
