SARGODHA, Jul 17 (APP):Over 2500 police men including officers and officials were performing their duties on the 10th of Muharam ul Haram aimed to provide fool proof security to 214 processions and 244 Majalis in the City.
Police spokesman informed that Processions and Majalis were under way under tight security across the District.
He said that 214 processions including 27 of category A,32 processions of category B and 155 of category C will be held during the whole day.
Main three processions of the city will be started from block No.5 and block No.19 and will be gathered at Goal Chowk and central procession will conclude at Karbala Manzill.
Monitoring of category A processions were being ensured with CCTV cameras .
Regional Police Officer Sharuk Kamal Siddiqui,DPO Sargodha Dr.Asad Ejaz Malhi will remain in the field to meet any untoward situation.
