CHINIOT, Dec 29 (APP):According to a report issued by the District Emergency Chiniot on Monday, the Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) responded to 24 road traffic accidents across the district during the last 24 hours. The incidents resulted in one fatality and left 28 people injured, highlighting growing concerns over road safety in the area. Among the injured were 18 men and 10 women, Rescue officials confirmed.
The report further stated that 19 victims sustained minor injuries and were treated and discharged on the spot after receiving immediate medical assistance. However, nine individuals suffered serious injuries and were shifted to concerned hospitals in Rescue 1122 ambulances after being given first aid.
