ISLAMABAD, Oct 23 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 24 outlaws in various operations across the federal capital as part of an ongoing crackdown to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property by curbing crime and apprehending criminal elements.
An official told APP on Thursday that police teams from Ramna, Tarnol, Sihala, Phulgran, and Shahzad Town police stations arrested 10 accused and recovered 4,890 grams of hashish, 1,230 grams of ice, four pistols, one gun with ammunition, and one dagger from their possession.
He added that during a special campaign to apprehend absconders and proclaimed offenders, 14 more criminals were also arrested — bringing the total number of arrests to 24 across Islamabad.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused, and further investigations are underway.
SSP Operations Islamabad said that Islamabad Police are continuously working to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property in the federal capital.
“No one will be allowed to disrupt the peace of the city,” he said, adding that the safety and security of citizens remain the top priority of Islamabad Police.
