ISLAMABAD, Jul 23 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 21 outlaws during various operations conducted by Sabzi Mandi, Shams Colony, Khanna, Nilore, Phulgran, and Shahzad Town police station teams.
A public relations officer told APP that 10 individuals involved in different criminal activities were apprehended. Police recovered 403 grams of ice, 60 bottles of wine, four pistols with ammunition, and several daggers from their possession. Cases have been registered against the accused, and further investigations are underway.
He said that in a separate campaign targeting proclaimed offenders and absconders, police teams arrested six criminals from different areas.
He said the operations were carried out under the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, as part of an ongoing crackdown against crime and criminal elements to maintain peace in the federal capital.
Islamabad Police remains fully committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens and ensuring public safety, adding that no one will be allowed to disrupt the peace, he concluded.
