ATTOCK, Jul 22 (APP):The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Attock circle on Monday busted a two member gang of car lifters and recovered three vehicles from their possession.
Incharge district CIA cell, DSP Hafeez Ur Rehman while addressing a press conference said that on July 14, Hamza Khalid reported to Attock Saddar Police about his stolen car which parked alongside river Indus on GT road while he came for picnicking with his friends.
He said CIA team along with SHO Sub-Inspector Khanzada Sheroze launched search operation and busted a two member car lifter gang Muhammad Ayub, resident of Jehangera and Qammar Zaman resident of Ghazi district recovered the stolen car. The Police also recovered two other vehicles which were stolen by them from different cities, he added.
He said that investigations are underway and more recoveries also expected from the suspects.
