RAWALPINDI, Nov 14 (APP):The Westridge Police apprehended a two-member gang allegedly involved in a house theft and burglary incident, recovering over Rs1.2 million worth of stolen gold ornaments, a Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Friday.
The spokesman stated that one of the arrested men was employed as a domestic worker in the house adjacent to the complainant’s residence. He, along with an accomplice, allegedly committed the crime during the family’s absence.
According to the spokesman, the Westridge Police used technical and human intelligence sources to trace and arrest the suspects.
Superintendent of Police Potohar Talha Wali said the arrested individuals would be challaned before the court with solid evidence.
