RAWALPINDI, Oct 24 (APP):The Saddar Beruni Police of Rawalpindihave apprehended a two-member gang allegedly involved in cattle theft and recovered 10 stolen animals worth over Rs 2.5 million.
According to a Rawalpindi Police spokesman on Friday, the accused had been involved in several incidents of cattle theft and similar offences.
Superintendent of Police Saddar Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar said that the arrested men would be challaned in court with solid evidence.
He reiterated that those who endanger citizens’ lives and property could not escape the grip of law.
The spokesman added that the Rawalpindi Police were determined to continue operations against criminal elements to ensure the safety of public life and property.
