LAHORE, Nov 01 (APP): Punjab Police promoted 199 employees to the rank of Sub-Inspector under the P-Cadet Scheme after their successful qualification through the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) examination.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, promotion notifications have been issued to the respective districts. Among those promoted are 54 officers from Lahore, 53 from Gujranwala, 25 from Sahiwal, and 67 from Multan.
DIG Establishment-I Dr. Suleman Sultan Rana said that promotion orders for officers from other regions will be issued once the remaining PPSC results are received.
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated all newly promoted officers and extended his best wishes for their future careers. He urged them to perform their duties with professionalism, dedication, and a strong sense of service to the nation, emphasizing the importance of courage and integrity in policing.
