ISLAMABAD, Jul 03 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, in operations conducted by Margalla, Ramna, Noon, Shams Colony, Khanna, and Bani Gala police stations teams, arrested 10 individuals involved in various criminal activities and recovered 1,726 grams of heroin, 603 grams of ice, 30 bottles of liquor, and eight pistols along with ammunition on Thursday.
A public relations officer told APP that cases have been registered against the accused and further investigations are underway.
Additionally, during a special campaign to apprehend proclaimed offenders and absconders, police teams arrested seven more criminals.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police continue its effective crackdown against crime and criminal elements to ensure peace and tranquility in the federal capital.
IG Rizvi said that ICT Police is committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens and that no elements would be allowed to disturb public peace. Ensuring security and safeguarding residents remain the top priorities of the police.
