ISLAMABAD, Oct 26 (APP): The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 15 criminals during an ongoing crackdown across the federal capital aimed at ensuring citizens’ safety and curbing criminal activities.

An official told APP on Sunday that police teams from Ramna, Shalimar, Sihala, and Bani Gala police stations apprehended nine suspects and recovered five wine bottles, 90 grams of ice, five pistols with ammunition, and a dagger from their possession.
He said cases have been registered against the arrested individuals and further investigations are in progress. Additionally, during a special campaign to apprehend absconders and proclaimed offenders, six more criminals were taken into custody — bringing the total number of arrests to 15.
SSP Operations/Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt said that the ICT Police are committed to maintaining law and order in the federal capital.
“No one will be allowed to disrupt the peace of the city,” he said, adding that the safety and security of citizens remain the top priority of Islamabad Police.
