FAISALABAD, Jul 24 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Capt (retd) Nadeem Nasir has dismissed 14 monitoring officers, including Assistant Manager Operations (Saddar) of Waste Management Company due to poor sanitation arrangements and fake reports.
He took this decision while presiding over a meeting of the Suthra Punjab at his office here on Thursday.
Chief Executive Officer Waste Management Company (WMC) Rauf Ahmed, Assistant Commissioners City, Saddar and other officers were present.
The Deputy Commissioner expressed displeasure over the performance of the Waste Management Company and issued orders to dismiss 14 monitoring officers of the Faisalabad Waste Management Company, including the Assistant Manager Operation (Saddar area).
He said that there is no room for careless staff in the district and made it clear that paperwork in the name of cleanliness is not acceptable under any circumstances as ground realities should be seen.
He warned that no compromise will be made on cleanliness.
