13 lawbreakers in handcuffs, drugs and weapons recovered

ISLAMABAD, Nov 26 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police are conducting an effective crackdown across the federal capital, arresting over a dozen accused and recovering narcotics and weapons to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property by curbing crime and apprehending criminal elements.
An official told APP on Wednesday that police teams from Ramana, Tarnol, Sabzi Mandi, Shams Colony, Noon, Kirpa and Humak police stations arrested eight accused and recovered 3,750 grams of hashish, 215 grams of ice and five pistols with ammunition from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the arrested accused, and further investigations are underway.
Additionally, during a special campaign to apprehend absconders and proclaimed offenders, five criminals were also arrested.
SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza stated that Islamabad Police are continuously working to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property in the federal capital. No one will be allowed to disrupt the peace of the city, he said, adding that the safety and security of citizens remain the top priority of Islamabad Police.
