ISLAMABAD, Oct 20 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 11 criminals during a series of operations across the federal capital, recovering over two kilograms of narcotics and multiple weapons.
An official told APP on Monday that police teams from Shalimar, Industrial Area, Khanna, Kirpa, Humak, and Shahzad Town police stations apprehended seven suspects and recovered 2,230 grams of heroin, 342 grams of ice, and three pistols with ammunition from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused, and further investigations are underway. Additionally, during a special campaign to apprehend absconders and proclaimed offenders, four criminals were also arrested.
SSP Operations stated that Islamabad Police are continuously working to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property in the federal capital.
No one will be allowed to disrupt the peace of the city, he said, adding that the safety and security of citizens remain the top priority of Islamabad Police.
