RAWALPINDI, Jul 29 (APP):Police have arrested seven drug dealers and recovered more than 10.5 kg of drugs from their possession during a crackdown here on Tuesday.
According to police spokesman, RA Bazaar police conducted a raid following the arrest of two female drug suppliers. During operations, police also recovered 2.4 kg drugs from their custody. Meanwhile, Mandra Police held 3 drug suppliers and recovered 4.8 kg of drugs from their possession. Following the operation, Dhamiyal police apprehended 2 drug pushers and recovered 2.1 kg of drugs from them. Additionally, Civil Lines Police arrested another drug dealer and recovered 1.3 kg of drugs from his possession.
City Police Officer (CPO) Khalid Mehmood Hamdani commended police teams for their swift actions and stated that the arrested accused will be presented in the court with solid evidence.
All resources are being utilized to eradicate the curse of drugs, he added.
