LAHORE, Jun 21 (APP): One person lost his life and three others were injured when a wall collapsed at a brick kiln on Multan Road in Lahore on Saturday.
According to Rescue 1122, the incident took place near Adda 62, Masha Allah Bricks, prompting an immediate emergency response. Rescue 1122 emergency teams, including ambulances and rescue vehicles, were dispatched to the site shortly after the report was received. Upon arrival, rescue personnel began administering first aid to the injured on the spot and initiated efforts to secure the area.
As per the latest update provided by Rescue 1122, one person lost his life in the incident. The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Sattar, aged 42. Three other individuals sustained injuries and were provided with immediate medical assistance before being shifted to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the collapse. Preliminary reports suggest structural weakness may have been a contributing factor, though a detailed assessment is yet to be completed.
Rescue officials emphasized the need for strict safety measures at industrial and construction sites to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
