ISLAMABAD, Oct 21 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 08 criminals during an ongoing crackdown in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Tuesday that police teams from Sabzi Mandi, Noon, and Humak police stations apprehended three accused and recovered 923 grams of heroin, 202 grams of ice, and a pistol with ammunition from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused, and further investigations are underway. Additionally, during a special campaign to apprehend absconders and proclaimed offenders, five more criminals were also arrested.
SSP Operations Islamabad stated that Islamabad Police are continuously working to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property in the federal capital.
No one will be allowed to disrupt the peace of the city, he said, adding that the safety and security of citizens remain the top priority of Islamabad Police.
