Pakistan, Philippine Consulates exchange welfare best practices

ISLAMABAD, Jul 31 (APP):The Consulates General of Pakistan and the Philippines in Dubai held a joint meeting to exchange best practices in diaspora welfare and legal support services. The meeting was held in the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai, a press release issued here on Thursday said.

Imran Shahid and Junaid Murtaza, Community Welfare Attachés, represented the Pakistani side, while Consul Aleah Marie Gica and Consul John Rio Bautista represented the Philippine mission.

The meeting focused on legal awareness for low-income workers, collaboration with UAE authorities on labor related matters, and capacity building of welfare officers.

Both sides agreed on the need for joint outreach and regular coordination through workshops and knowledge-sharing initiatives to better serve their respective communities.
