ISLAMABAD, Jan 18 (APP): Pakistan High Commissioner Rabia Shafiq, Sunday, appreciated the depth and diversity of internationally acclaimed Pakistani-American artist Anila Quayyum Agha’s work.
She observed artist’s ability to thoughtfully explore themes of cultural identity, humanity’s relationship with the natural world and the influence of individual and collective experiences on artistic expression.
The high commissioner attended the inaugural exhibition at the Sundaram Tagore Gallery, Singapore, titled “Anila Quayyum Agha: the unraveling,” which brought together a distinguished audience comprising diplomats, academics, and members of the cultural community, a press release said.

She also conveyed her sincere appreciation to the Sundaram Tagore Gallery team for curating such a meaningful and enriching experience.
The exhibition featured a wide range of artistic forms, including immersive light installations, vibrant collages, intricately embroidered drawings, and evocative works from the artist’s Cabinets of Curiosities series.
Each piece reflected unique narratives shaped by history, memory, and contemporary social realities.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until January 23.
