SYDNEY, Oct 21 (APP): Minister for Energy Ali Pervaiz Malik arrived here to represent the Government of Pakistan in the International Mining and Resources Conference being held from October 21–23.
The International Mining and Resources Conference and Expo brings together influential mining industry leaders for a world-class program and an exhibition of over 500 global solution providers showcasing cutting-edge technology and services to drive innovation and productivity across the entire mining value chain.
On his arrival, the minister was received by Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Australia Irfan Shaukat and other senior officials.
During the visit, he will deliver a keynote address on “Pakistan’s Energy Transition and Critical Minerals Development: Unlocking New Frontiers for Global Partnership.”
He will also hold a series of bilateral meetings with participating ministers, senior Australian government officials, and global industry leaders to discuss cooperation in exploration and mining of critical minerals, energy transition, and sustainable development.
Malik will also brief members of the business community and Pakistani diaspora about the Government of Pakistan’s initiatives to attract investment and facilitate overseas Pakistanis.
The visit underscores Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening energy partnerships, advancing climate goals, and attracting responsible investment in the mineral value chain.
