Amb Faisal Tirmizi visits WAM headquarters, discusses avenues to promote bilateral tourism cooperation

ABU DHABI, May 29 (APP): Pakistan’s Envoy to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi on Thursday was warmly received by Director-General of Emirates News Agency (WAM), Mohamed Al Hammadi, at WAM Headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

During the visit, both sides held a productive meeting to explore avenues for enhanced bilateral cooperation, particularly in the realm of news/ content sharing under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between WAM and the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).

Discussions also focused on promoting the rich cultural heritage and tourism potential of both countries to foster deeper people-to-people ties.

The meeting was attended by senior officials from both sides.
