KARACHI, Jan 13 (APP):Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Organized a condolence reference in memory of senior theatre writers and directors Kunwar Khurshid Ahmed and Khadim Hussain Uchvi at Gulrang Hall.
President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmed Shah attended the event as chief guest. Senior actors and theatre personalities including Shehzad Raza Naqvi, Iqbal Latif, Nazar Hussain, Shakeel Siddiqui, Rauf Lala, Zakir Mastana, Zeba Shehnaz, Saadat Jafri and others associated with theatre expressed their views.
On this occasion, President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmed Shah, expressing his thoughts, said that all of you together have given Arts Council the shape of a family.
Today is a very sorrowful day that we are gathered here to remember two renowned theatre writers and directors Kunwar Khurshid Ahmed and Khadim Hussain Uchvvi.
He added these two artists were individuals who illuminated Pakistan’s name at the global level and presence of such a large number of people reflects that these artists are alive in hearts because of their hard work and morals.
In the condolence reference, Saadat Jafri led the prayer for the forgiveness of Kanwar Khurshid Ahmed and Khadim Hussain Uchvi.
