Annual students’ art show held at PAC

RAWALPINDI, Jan 08 (APP):Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi organized the Annual Students’ Art Show at the gallery of the Arts Council, showcasing creative works by emerging artists across multiple disciplines.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the chief guests, Shazia Rizwan, Parliamentary Secretary, Information & Culture Department, and Anum Fatima, Deputy Director General (Enforcement), CDA.
Artworks by students from the departments of Calligraphy, Painting & Sketching, Graphic Designing, Fashion & Textile Design, and Interior Designing were displayed, reflecting creativity, skill, and contemporary artistic expression.
A total of 50 students were awarded certificates in recognition of their artistic achievements. The event was organized under the guidance of faculty members Khuram Babury, Younis Roomi, Samra Humayun, Waqar Ali, Quratulain, Usman Ahmed Mirza, and Sameeha Khaliq, whose efforts were appreciated by the guests.
The chief guests commended the students and faculty for promoting art education and encouraging young talent, emphasizing the role of arts in cultural development and creative growth. Director PAC, Shakoor paid special gratitude to all. The show will continue till January 12.
