Work of Pakistani calligrapher exhibited in Paris

ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP): The work of Pakistani artist Khalid Mahmood Siddiqui exhibited in a local art gallery in Paris, France was greatly appreciated by the French art lovers and general public.
The six-day exhibition was inaugurated by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque in Paris, said a press release received Friday.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, the Ambassador said calligraphy was an intrinsic part as Islamic art and was also practiced in different cultures around the world.
He praised the innovative and original work of Siddiqui which would certainly help introducing Pakistan’s art of calligraphy in France.
Khalid Mahmood Siddiqui is a Pakistani Calligrapher son of Famous calligrapher Mahmoodullah Siddiqui. He started practicing and learning traditional calligraphy along with his formal education. He has participated in many group exhibitions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Large number of French art lovers, diplomats, intellectuals, public figures and journalists witnessed the exhibition and appreciated his work.
