Urdu literary event held in Ankara

ISLAMABAD, May 4 (APP): As part of activities aimed at promotion of Urdu in Turkey, a “Bazm-e-Shair o Sukhan,” was held in Ankara, which among others was attended by members of Pakistani community, with interest in Urdu poetry and prose.
They were joined by members of the faculty of Urdu Department, Ankara University, a message received here from Ankara on Wednesday said.
The event’s host, Galib Gilani, elegantly moderated the proceedings, — combining humour, selections from major Urdu poets, and his own poetical compositions.
