ISLAMABAD, May 12 (APP): Pakistan was in the limelight throughout
Morocco Wednesday night after one of its bands put up an outstanding performance of sufi music at the world famous Fez Sacred Music Festival here.
The ‘Raga Boyz’ mesmerized an audience of more than fifteen thousand
people at the Boujloud arena with superb renditions of sufi music and Pakistani classics such as ‘jugni’ and ‘mast qalandar’, said a press release on Thursday.
Their presence at this prestigious festival was made possible
by the efforts of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif who took personal interest in promoting Pakistani goodwill in Morocco at the request of Pakistan’s Ambassador Nadir Chaudhri.
