ISLAMABAD, Sep 17 (APP):Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) in collaboration with the Embassy of France and Alliance Francaise would organize screening of Director Costa Gavras’ film ‘Compartment Killers’ in PNCA on Wednesday.
French-Greek director, Producer and Writer Costa Gavras is famous in the international film world. He was born in Greece, but never made a film there. He has lived and worked in France. His name has usually been associated with political thrillers like Z, Missing, ‘State of Siege’ and ‘The Confession.’ He has won distinguished international film awards for these daring titles.
He got French Knighthood in 2007 and became President of Cinematheque Francaise, one of the world’s largest film archives.
