RAC holds evening with intellectual Dr Maqsood Elahi Sheikh

RAWALPINDI, Oct 29 (APP): Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) in
collaboration with Literary Society Sukhanwar arranged an evening
with international fame UK based Pakistani intellectual and short
story writer Dr Maqsood Elahi Sheikh here Thursday.
The evening was presided over by renowned short story writer
Hameed Shahid and while literary figures including Muhammad Yousaf and
senior poet Naseem-e-Saher highlighted the services, life and work of
Dr Maqsood Elahi.
They paid tribute to Dr Maqsood Elahi Sheikh on his literary works
and contributions for keeping alive the identity of creative intellectuals.
Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed also welcomed the intellectual
saying that the interaction of such literary personalities with the young
generation shape their imaginations and encourage them to continue their
literary endeavors.
