PNCA arranges cultural event to express solidarity with people of Kashmir

ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP): Pakistan National Council of the
Arts (PNCA) on Tuesday arranged a cultural event to express
solidarity with the Kashmiri people in connection with Black Day
of Kashmir.
The event was titled ‘Youm e Siah Kashmir’ featured
Kashmiri Tarany (songs), tableau and speeches to support and
highlight the day.
Director General Pakistan National Council of the Arts
(PNCA) Shabir Ahmed was the chief guest on the occasion.
Addressing the participants, he said that people of
Pakistan would continue their moral support to the people of
Kashmir until they get their right to self-determination and we
can never forget the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people.
Students from various educational institutions of twin
cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad attended the event.
The participants of PNCA drama workshop also expressed
support and solidarity with Kashmiri people in their
unprecedented peaceful struggle for their right
to self-determination through presenting Kashmiri songs,
tableau, speeches and maim shows.
At the end of the programme, the chief guest awarded
certificates to the participants.
It may be mentioned that October 27 is the day, when Indian Armed Forces took over Kashmir by force and made it Indian dominion.
In this connection, Kashmiris observe this day, all over the world, as a Black Day.
