ISLAMABAD, Oct 9 (APP):Lok Virsa Research Section would organize ‘Muzakra’ a literary session on “Environmental Folk Wisdom of Sindh” at its Media Centre on October 11.
Professor Nawaz Ali Kumbhar will be the guest speaker to talk on the topic. Presently he is working as Associate Professor in Economics at Government Degree College Sanghar Sindh.
He has published 12 books to his credit on the subject including: folklore, folk wisdom, traditional ecological knowledge, environmental Issues, community based disaster risk reduction and management, social mobilization and change.
In this Muzakra, the speakers will discuss the folk wisdom, natural communication and its significance.
The speakers will also highlight the folk wisdom regarding change in seasons and explore the indicators of changing seasons suggested by folk wisdom and natural communication in Sindh.
