Renowned radio, television and film artist Jamshed Ansari was remembered on his 21st death anniversary.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 24 (APP):Renowned radio, television and film artist Jamshed Ansari was remembered on his 21st death anniversary.
Born on December 31, 1942, Ansari carved a distinct niche for himself in Pakistan’s entertainment industry through his versatile acting skills. He earned lasting fame for his portrayal of ‘Safdar’ in the longest-running Pakistani radio program, ‘Hamid Mian Kay Haan’.
His first television play from Karachi television was ‘Ghora ghaas khata hai’.
During his career, he performed in over two hundred TV dramas, three films and numerous radio programs. His contribution to arts was recognized with fifty-five national and two international awards.
The veteran artist passed away in Karachi on August 24, 2005, leaving behind a memorable legacy in Pakistan’s radio, television and film history.
