MULTAN, Nov 6 (APP): A three-day the 777th annual Urs of Hazrat
Bahauddin Zakariya began here on Sunday.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi,the caretaker of the shrine, inaugurated the Urs celebrations after performing the ‘ghusal’ ceremony.
Mureed Hussain Qureshi, Wajahat Hussain Gillani, Zain Qureshi, Mian
Jameel and others were also present.
A National Zakariya Conference will also be held in connection with the
celebrations and its last session will be held on November 8 (Tuesday).
Strict security arrangements have been made by police and the district administration.
A large number of devotees across the country are attending the Urs.
