Fisheries course for women from Nov 2

LAHORE, Oct 31 (APP): A three-day course on ‘Ornamental Fish Culture’ is
scheduled to be held only for women at Fisheries Research & Training Institute Lahore from November 2, 2015.
Punjab Fisheries Department Director General Dr. Muhammad Ayub
said here Saturday that during the course, participants would be
trained in the culture practices of important ornamental fish and making
of the aquaria, which would enable them to start fisheries business (cottage industry) of aquarium making and breeding of ornamental fish
at small scale.The DG said that main objective of the training course is to enable
womenfolk to earn their living by themselves and play their active role
in the society. He said that the prospective participants are required
to register themselves with the Director Fisheries, Research & Training Institute, Wahga Road opposite Police Station Manawan, Lahore on
November 2, at 9 am. He said that participants will be provided
free boarding facility and the intending participants could contact
