ISLAMABAD, May 22 (APP):Faiz Heritage Library here at National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa’s) serves to provide rare reference material to assist students and scholars of culture and history.
The Heritage Library is located inside Heritage Museum, Shakarpariyan, Islamabad.The library contains over 32,000 books and journals as well as a collection of 200 books published by Lok Virsa. The library also has an online catalogue of books so it is easier for students and researchers to find hard copies of books in the various libraries Lok Virsa has across the country.
Senior officials of Lok Virsa told APP that these include journals, dated periodicals, research papers, specialized publications and books donated by publishing houses, private collectors, Lok Virsa’s own Publications and some very rare manuscripts personally collected by Lok Virsa’s Executive Directors.
