TOBA TEK SINGH Sept 23 (APP): Thousands of people warmly received Azadi Train on Friday at various Railway Stations including Gojra, Toba Tek Singh, Shorkot Cantt and Abdul Hakeem.
A huge crowd of people was present at every Railway Station to welcome Azadi Train.
A large numbers of students, families, administration and Railways officials were also present at every Railway Station.
The visitors of Azadi Train took keen interest in the cultural floats and historical galleries.
The historical galleries opened for the visitors at every Railway Stations.
Directorate of Electronic, Media and Publications (DEMP) also distributed booklets of Pakistan movement among the visitors.
The cultural floats of Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtun khwa, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan and Azadi Jammu Kashmir attracted a huge crowed at all the Railway Stations.
Officer Incharge Azadi Train Muhammad Ali Chachar told APP that Azadi train was a special gift for the whole nation.
He thanked people for their warm welcome, adding that Azadi Train had become a symbol of solidarity among the nation.
He said that Azadi train would continue its journey to remaining parts of the country.
He said Azadi Train will travel to Kohat, via Jand and Basal tomorrow.
Azadi Azadi Train started its journey from August 11 at Margalla Railway Station and visited various cities across the country.
