WCCIS meets CASTECH–UMT to strengthen Industry-Academia links
SIALKOT, Jul 18 (APP): President of the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sialkot (WCCIS), Dr. Mariam Siddiqa, accompanied by Senior Vice President (SVP) WCCIS Gulzaib Waqas Awan and Vice President (VP) WCCIS Rubina Naveed, held a meeting with Sohail Ashraf, Head of Business Development and Marketing at CASTECH–UMT at WCCIS.
The meeting focused on introducing CASTECH and highlighting its role in fostering stronger industry-academia linkages. Both sides exchanged views on the importance of collaboration in bridging the gap between educational institutions and the business community.
Discussions also explored potential areas of cooperation between WCCIS and CASTECH–UMT, with a shared commitment to promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and skills development.
The meeting concluded with both organizations expressing their willingness to work together on future projects aimed at supporting innovation and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.
