TEVTA job fair attracts thousands of job seeking students

RAWALPINDI, Dec 09 (APP):The Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Punjab successfully hosted Job Fair 2025 at Government College of Technology where thousands of students and graduates from various TEVTA institutes across Rawalpindi district visited.
The event, marked by excellent arrangements and unprecedented attendance, featured participation from over 50 national and international companies, providing on-the-spot interviews, registrations, screenings, and hiring opportunities in diverse trades.
Prominent firms including Coca-Cola, Suzuki, Pepsi Cola, Cherries and others set up their stalls where young technical graduates showcased their skills and secured immediate employment prospects. Several candidates underwent instant interviews, boosting job opportunities for skilled youth.
The fair was inaugurated by J7 Group Chairman Maqbool Hussain as chief guest, with former Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Abdul Rauf Chaudhry and Pakistan HVACR Society’s Athar Naseem Siddiqui attended as guests of honor.
Accompanied by TEVTA North Regional Director Engineer Usman Ali, Rawalpindi District Director Malik Amir Ahmed, and Principal Engr Mustafa Masood, the dignitaries visited the stalls and interacted with students and company representatives.
In his address, Maqbool Hussain admired TEVTA for not only imparting technical training but also bridging youth with industry through practical employment avenues.
 Engineer Usman Ali highlighted how TEVTA students have consistently earned industry trust through their expertise, as evidenced by the enthusiastic participation. Malik Amir Ahmed noted that such events directly expose students to evolving industry demands and offer career guidance.
Company representatives commended TEVTA graduates for their trade skills, work ethics, and technical acumen, calling Pakistani youth among the most skilled workers in the region. At the event’s conclusion, participating companies received honorary certificates from TEVTA Punjab. Students, teachers, and industrialists hailed the initiative as Rawalpindi’s premier technical employment fair.
