ISLAMABAD, Oct 06 (APP): The Secretary Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) on Tuesday held a meeting with representatives of the Hunza Chamber of Commerce and Industry, hotel, traders and food associations to discuss business-related challenges and measures to improve the business environment in Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to SIFC press release issued here, the business representatives highlighted regulatory and operational issues affecting commercial activity in Hunza.
Discussions focused on simplifying regulatory requirements, strengthening coordination among relevant authorities and establishing effective institutional engagement for timely resolution of business-related matters.
The Secretary SIFC emphasized the importance of a conducive and predictable business environment to support private-sector activity, facilitate investment and promote sustainable economic growth in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The need for practical, coordinated solutions to address regulatory bottlenecks and ease the compliance burden on businesses was underscored.
SIFC reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating investment and strengthening ease of doing business in Gilgit-Baltistan through coordinated engagement with the business community and relevant government stakeholders.
