Shipping Activity at Port Qasim
KARACHI, Sep 07 (APP):Two ships, PST Genesis and Grand Ocean carrying Palm oil and Canola Seed, berthed at Liquid Cargo Terminal and Grain Terminal on 6th September. Meanwhile two more ships, Aetos and Chem Orchid scheduled to load/offload Rice and Chemicals also arrived at outer anchorage on same day.
Ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them five ships, Peng Hu Wan, Hosun, Gem Darcy, Gooby and Meghna Rose are expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 88,909 tones comprising 82,381 tones imports cargo and 6,528 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Seventeen ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Yon Ding-19, Bird-16, Chem Orchid, Shahriar Jahan-I and Crane & another ship ‘Brooklyn Bridge’ scheduled to load/offload Palm oil, Rice, Chemicals, Coal and Container are expected to take berths MW-1, FAP, EVTL, MW-4, PQPET and QICT respectively on Monday.
