Shipping Activity at Port Qasim
KARACHI, Aug 03 (APP):Shipping activity was report at the port where three ships, DP World Chennai, Malmo and My Dream carrying Container, Palm oil and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and Bulk Cargo Terminal.
Meanwhile six more ships, Mol Earnest, CMA CGM Nile, Star Cape Town, Peonia, PST Genesis and Nave Atropos scheduled to load/offload Container, Cement, Palm oil and Gasoline also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Prima Dharma and Shandong Yihe left the port on today morning while four more ships, DP World Chennai, SIBI, Bahri Gadha and Can Bey expected to sail on today.
Cargo volume of 100,833 tones comprising 59,138 tones imports cargo and 41,695 export cargo carried in 1,730 Containers (623 TEUs Imports & 1,107 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 17 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Mol Earnest, Nave Atropos and Mercury Sky & two more ships, PGC Yiannios and Antigoni Force carrying Container, Gasoline, Coal, LPG and Coal are expected to take berths QICT, FOTCO, SSGC, PIBT and PQEPT respectively on today.
