KARACHI, Jun 16 (APP):Four ships namely, Hansa Europe, MSC Vida X, Meghna Venus and Kouros Diamond carrying Containers and Coal, berthed at Container Terminal, HFP&S Terminal and Bulk Terminal respectively on Monday.
Twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them four ships, Hansa Europe, Lebrethan, Corona and Ginga Courage left the port on Tuesday morning while two more ships, MSC Vida X and Khairpur are expected to sail on Tuesday.
A cargo volume of 168,476 comprising 130,247 tonnes imports cargo and 38,229 tonnes export cargo was handled at the Port, during the last 24 hours including containerized cargo carried in 2,511 Containers (1,249 TEUs Imports and 1,262 TEUs export.
Twelve ships at outer anchorage of the port, out of them two ships namely, TPT Heart and Gas Aurora carrying Palm oil and LPG are expected to take berths at LCT and EVTL respectively on Tuesday, while another container vessel Spirit of Bartram is due to arrive at Port Qasim on Wednesday and Nileduth Lion is due to arrive on Thursday.
