Shipping Activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI, May 12 (APP):Two ships, Al-Bert-P and MSC Unific-VI carrying Container, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal on Monday.

Meanwhile another bulk cargo carrier ‘Meghna Paradise’ also arrived at outer

anchorage on Tuesday.

A total of four ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of

them a containers ship ‘MSC Unific-VI’ left the port on today morning & another

containers ship ‘Al-Bert-P’ expected to sail on Tuesday.

Cargo volume of 79,991 tones comprising 74,449 tones imports cargo and 5,542

export cargo carried in 1,559 Containers (1,233 TEUs Imports & 326 TEUs Export)

was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 16 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them a bulk cargo

ship ‘Primavera-II’ with Coal expected to take berths PIBT respectively on Tuesday.
