KARACHI, Mar 02 (APP):Shipping activity was report at the port where five ships, Sol Unity, DNK Yusuf Alghanim, MD-23, Wadi Al-Sail and Astro Merope carrying Container, Mogas, LPG, LNG and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, FOTCO oil Terminal, Sui Southern Gas Terminal, Pakistan Gas Port Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively on March 1.
Meanwhile another ship ‘Al-Hamla’ with LNG also arrived at outer anchorage on same day.
A total of thirteen ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them seven ships, Sol Unity, MSC Tracy-V, Dilos, Port Osaka, Roama-19, Aquavita Soul and Bernice are expected to sail on today 02nd March.
Cargo volume of 214,817 tonnes, comprising 160,958 tonnes imports cargo and 53,859 export cargo carried in 4,280 Containers (1,334 TEUs Imports & 2,946 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 14 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Banglar Agrajatra, Mistrtal Explorer and Al-Hamla & three more ships, New Nobel, MSC Marina and Al-Bert-P with Palm oil, Chemicals, LNG, General Cargo and Container expected to take berth at LCT, EVTL, EETL, MW-1 and QICT on today.
