KARACHI, Jan 09 (APP):Five ships, MSC Tia-V, Semiha Ahmet-M, Propel Shakti, Kathrine Kosan and Nikolas-A scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice, Soya Bean Seed, Chemicals and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Marginal Wharf-2, Grain Terminal,
Engro Vopak Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively Thursday,Meanwhile four more ships, MSC Julie, Ren Ma Zuo,MBA Future and Nave Cassiopeia scheduled to load/offload Container, Fuel oil,Soya Bean Seed and Mogas also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24hours.
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, MSC Tia-V, Haven and Talara left the port on Friday morning, while three more ships, Mesaimeer,Scorpio Honor and Kathrine Kosan are expected to sail on Friday.
Cargo volume of 161,643 tonnes, comprising 122,096 tonnes imports cargo and 39,547 export cargo carried in 3,653 Containers (1,383 TEUs Imports &2,270 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 20 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, MSC Julie, Marina Aman, Ren Ma Zuo and Bering Gas & another ship‘Common Galaxy’ scheduled to load/offload Container, Palm oil, Fuel oil, LPG and Coal expected to take berths at QICT, MW-1, FOTCO, EVTL and MW-4 on Friday.
