KARACHI, Dec 29 (APP):Shipping Activity at Port Qasim Shipping activity was report at the port where three ships, Fortuo, Poineer Gas and Diamond Island carrying Palm oil, LPG and Coal, berthed at Liquid Cargo Terminal, Sui Southern Gas Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively.
Meanwhile five more ships, MSC Veracruz-V, Shan Ying Zuo, Al-Soor-II, Horizon and Hui Doung-36 carrying Container, Mogas, Gas oil, LPG and MP Cockl also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a Engro carrier ‘JBU Sapphire’ left the port on today morning, while three more ships, MSC Veracruz, Poineer Gas and Al-Bidda are expected to sail on today.
Cargo volume of 103,559 tonnes, comprising 96,714 tonnes imports cargo and 6,845 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 14 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Paccha, YC Daisy, Horizon, Hui Doung-36 and MSC Veracruz & another ship ‘Al-Berth’ carrying Mogas, LPG, Chemicals, MEP Cockl and Container are expected to take berths at FOTCO, SSGC, EVTL, PIBT and QICT on today 29th December.
