KARACHI, Dec 12 (APP):Five ships, X-press Kailash, Lapis Lazuli, New Ability, Chemroad Quest and Doric Valour scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice, LSFO, Palm oil and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, FOTCO oil Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively on Thursday.
Meanwhile five more ships, Marianna-1, Horizon-1, AN-61, Gas Lily and Al-Wakrah carrying Container, LPG, Chemicals and LNG also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
Eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, X-press Kailash and Chem Barium left the port on today morning, while four more ships, Marianna, Sedra, Chemroad Quest and Union Explorer are expected to sail on Thursday.
Cargo volume of 100,860 tonnes, comprising 89,393 tonnes imports cargo and 11,467 export cargo carried in 290 Containers (30 TEUs Imports & 260 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Fourteen ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Marianna, Chemroad Zenith, Hanyu Freesia and Al-Wakrah carrying Container, Palm oil, Chemicals and LNG are expected to take berths at QICT, LCT, EVTL and EETL on Friday.
